Eighth in a series of illustrations done for a commissioned Christmas set piece based on a medieval folktale.

The lyrics are from the Stan Rogers version of the ballad, a work a much older and longer than his still-excellent rendition. For the story, simply look at all nine images as the complete text is contained therein.
